i’m Te Hana Goodyer

born and raised in the Horowhenua

growing up in Levin, i attended high school in Palmerston North before later studying and working in Wellington. I then moved to London, where I spent five years working abroad. now back in Aotearoa New Zealand, i’m continuing my creative journey with a reinvigorated sense of purpose.

as a senior creative professional

i have 8+ years of industry experience. my skillset spans branding, visual identity, creative direction, digital illustration, web/app design, and 2D animation.

i’m at my creative best when rapidly developing fresh ideas for brands—whether internal or external—striving for that ‘wow’ factor. not only do I generate bold concepts, but i also have the ability to bring them to life.

alongside a lifetime of being māori, i recently began combing both passion and culture professionally. this past year has given me confidence designing within te ao māori spaces, processes and frameworks.

a part of this is also helping unpack our māori worldview and narratives for clients, to create shared understanding sense of ease with using cultural visual forms.
